San Jose Shipwreck
Legendary Billion-Dollar Shipwreck Found Off Colombian Coast
Sought after by treasure hunters for more than 300 years, the wreck of the Spanish galleon San José was finally  discovered on Novemeber 27 2015. The shipwreck—which could contain as much as $17 billion in gold, silver and jewels—might be the richest in the world.
 Recovery of the shipwreck will happen in 2018.
GK Consulting provided AUV mission planning and sonar data analysis for the San Jose search project.
